Anyone can become a contributor to this blog. Wild Arkansas accepts short (100-1,200 words) articles about wildcrafting, wild food foraging, nutrition of wild foods, articles about herbal medicine and informative pieces about local trails.
Payment:
Wild Arkansas is currently only an online publication with a small following and cannot afford to pay for articles. You will receive a byline and the satisfaction of knowing you contributed to the betterment of a growing community.
Quality:
You do not need to be an English major to write for this publication; however, you do need to spell check, double check your grammar, check your facts and cite your sources.
I look for concise, informative pieces with style.
To submit:
Place your piece in the body of the email. All email with attachments will be deleted.
